Founded by Debbie Howe Dip MBACP, FRTC in 2013.  The practice offers therapeutic support through a variety of services.

  • Counselling

    Our Counselling service offers therapeutic support to Individuals, Couples and Groups work from the ages of 16 upwards.

    We also can provide facilitator services for groups and companies.

  • Life Coaching

    Our Coaching service provides an opportunity to work with individuals who may need guidance in where they go next.

    South Eastern Counselling & Support service will provide strategies and techniques for making positive changes and bring around a desired outcome.

    With underlying therapeutic support incorporating the Fusion based coaching model we tailor client’s needs by ascertaining specific measurable goals ensuring that they are achievable within the clients framework.

  • Training
    The training services offered by South Eastern Counselling Services are specialised and bespoke. There are two sepcific areas.
    The SECASS Bereavement model devised by Debbie.  The framework of the model can be adapted to fit the requirements of Counsellors and individual groups and organisations and can be run as individual or block workshops.
    Along with training in the Fusion integrated Coaching Model.

    We cover the Thanet and East Kent area and are located at three sites in Margate, Faversham, Canterbury and Birchington on Sea.

About Debbie Howe and her services as a counsellor, life coach and trainer

Debbie Howe Life CoachDebbie is a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British association of counsellors and psychotherapists.

Having over ten years’ experience of supporting clients.
Debbie starting her counselling career in Palliative care supporting patients with life limiting illnesses, as well families and loved ones.
Debbie has worked extensively with issues surrounding Bereavement and loss and complicated grief.  She has further gone onto to develop her own model of Bereavement that can be used working with individuals clients or adapted to run as a training tool for those employed in the health sector.
Debbie additionally worked for several Counselling agencies across Kent and south east London with clients of all ages.

Working with issues such as:-
• Anxiety & Poor self-esteem.
• Bereavement & Loss.
• Trauma (type 1 and 2).
• Abuse (Sexual and Domestic – Childhood & Adult).
• Eating Disorders.
• Addiction (Alcohol, Drugs, and Sex).
• Anger & Depression.
Debbie’s counselling training was Integrative and Transpersonal based. Meaning it included most counselling theories. This enables the counselling process to be tailored to your individual needs drawing on theoretic approaches which suit you best. As a BACP registered Counsellor she adheres to their ethical framework and professional guidelines.
Debbie maintains her professional awareness and skills by continuing her professional development.

Debbie is also an accredited therapeutic Coach. Working in unison with the Fusion coaching Model.  The model offers a variety of options and ways of working from taster sessions in specific areas to a 5 week intensive programme. It can be adapted to use with individuals as well at Corporate level.
Working with the client Debbie establishes and defines specific and measurable goals meeting to provide desired and achievable outcomes.

As a trainer Debbie offer bespoke workshops. These include the SECASS model of Bereavement.
Models associated to the Fusion Life Coaching Model. Such as Emotional Hijacking. The STOP System.
The workshops can be adapted to work with organisations, groups and individuals. And can work with the ages of 13 upwards.
